In partnership with Liberty Victoria, Australia’s longest-standing human rights organisation, the conference featured powerful speakers including Julian Burnside AO QC and Daye Gang who shared their expertise, insight and lived experience in ensuring the ideals of freedom, respect, equality and dignity are protected in peoples’ lives.

A resounding theme throughout the conference was ‘privilege is relative’. Students were challenged to understand their own privilege and open their eyes to human rights, both their own and others.

Congratulations to Tommy, Jay, Nathan, Raphael, Ravin, Ethan, Matthew, Edward, Henry, Hamish, and William who were great representatives of the School.
