VARIOUS ADMINISTRATION ROLES AVAILABLE

**** Administration Support - 12-month fixed term, 0.8 FTE, to commence ASAP

The Administration Support role will provide administration support to the VCE Office (1 day), Middle School Office (1 day) and Senior School Office (2 days) whilst working closely with the EA to the Deputy Head, EA to Head of Middle School and the Student Services Office Coordinator (VCE Office).

**** Executive Assistant to the Head of Middle School - Parental Leave Backfill, 1.0 FTE, between 6 and 12 weeks (TBC) to commence early-September 2022

The Executive Assistant to the Head of Middle School will provide a high level of executive and administrative support to the Head of Middle School and Middle School office whilst the current incumbent is on parental leave. The successful candidate will be required to exercise judgement and have a reasonable autonomy in their day-to-day tasks.  The EA to HoMS also acts as a pivotal first point of contact for all visitors to the Middle School office (students, parents and staff) and is required to provide a high level of customer service at all times.  A high level of professionalism and confidentiality is expected in carrying out this role.

**** Student Services Office Coordinator (VCE) - 3-week fixed term assignment. 1.0 FTE to commence immediately

The role of the Student Services Office Coordinator is to be responsible for general administrative duties, answering incoming phone queries, customer service (email, phone or face-to-face) and data entry.

COMMUNITY AND DEVELOPMENT OFFICE COORDINATOR (FRONT DESK)

This is a full-time, term time only permanent position, commencing ASAP.

The role acts primarily as Reception (front-of-house) and Administration for the Community and Development Office with responsibilities and day-to-day administrative and operational tasks that contribute towards the achievement of the Community and Development Office goals as well as assisting the Director of Community and Development with developing and maintaining strong connections with all parties of the CGS Community.

DUTY MANAGER

This is a casual position, commencing ASAP.

The Duty Manager has the responsibility of running the School’s facilities on campus including but not limited to, the Sports Centre and the Performance Arts Centre (PAC) on a casual basis in lieu of the management team onsite.

CAR PARK ATTENDANT

This is a casual position, during terms time only, commencing ASAP.

The role of the Car Park Attendant is to monitor the use of the Junior School (and other locations if requested) student drop off and pick up points.  They are to ensure there is smooth traffic flow at all times and direct cars/parents as needed through the driveway pick up/drop off area.  Another important element of the role is to ensure OH&S procedures are adhered to at all times and ensure the students are safely escorted to their vehicles.

We are looking for someone who can work both the below times or be flexible to share them with someone else.

  • Drop off hours are: 7.30am to 9.30am
  • Pick up hours are: 2.30pm to 4.30pm

Child Safety

Mandatory Checks

Police Checks: All successful candidates are required to undertake criminal records checks.  The criminal records checks cover all countries of citizenship and for each country in which the individual has lived for 12 months or longer over the past five years (or more).  

Working With Children Checks: All successful candidates must obtain and provide a valid Working with Children Check.

The provision of these documents is at the candidates own expense.  The requirement for criminal records checks allows people to self-select out of the process if they wish to do so.
