VCE performance at Camberwell Grammar School has been particularly strong. The School is a member of The University of Melbourne Schools’ Partnership International (MSPI) which provides opportunities for students to visit the university campus and receive information about its programs through the School.
All overseas students, regardless of age, must have a local support person. While not providing boarding facilities, students entering Year 9 and above can live in a homestay organised through the School.
Overseas students enrol for Year 9 or above. Please note that we do not enrol overseas students below Year 9 level and we do not accept overseas students who turn 20 years of age during their Year 12 studies.
Our International Student Enrolment Policy can be found here. Overseas fees and charges can be found here. The current Fees, Charges and Accounts Terms and Conditions can be found here and should be read in conjunction with our International Students Terms of Enrolment.
Applicants are required to undertake tests of English proficiency and general ability. The standard test is that conducted by Australian Education Assessment Services (AEAS). Most students require a course of intensive English (ELICOS) and we can recommend and organise an appropriate language school such as the Melbourne Language Centre. Fees for these courses are met by parents.
The Australian Government requires full-fee paying overseas students to contribute to Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) which will help cover the costs of medical and hospital care needed in Australia. The School’s current provider is Medibank Private.
