Child Safety

Camberwell Grammar School is committed to Child Safety.  Candidates must be able to demonstrate an understanding of appropriate behaviours when engaging with children and where appropriate be able to demonstrate experience working with children.  Applicants will have the opportunity to indicate their understanding of, or any experience they have in working with children with diverse needs and/or backgrounds.

Mandatory Checks

Police Checks: All successful candidates are required to undertake criminal records checks.  The criminal records checks cover all countries of citizenship and for each country in which the individual has lived for 12 months or longer over the past five years (or more).  

Working With Children Checks: All successful candidates must obtain and provide a valid Working with Children Check.

The provision of these documents is at the candidates own expense.  The requirement for criminal records checks allows people to self-select out of the process if they wish to do so.



We are looking to build our casual pool of Administrators, Receptionists and basic Admin all rounders to help us out when needed to cover employee annual leave, sick leave or simply during peak periods.  

You will have had previous experience in administration support, reception, data entry, PA/EA and/or customer service type roles and be interested in ad hoc/as needed, casual work. 

To be considered for this role and other future opportunities you will need to possess:

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • General admin skills such as data entry and document preparation
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • An excellent phone manner
  • You must hold a valid Working with Children card
  • Flexibility with time and an ability to commit to work at short notice

A passionate and qualified teacher is sought to teach the Year 7 to 10 Digital Technology Curriculum and VCE Computing. Expertise in computational and design thinking, game development, electronics, VR and AI is required.


(Mathematics/Science Teacher Years 7 to 9)

An enthusiastic and qualified Home Room Teacher is required to teach in our Middle School. The ability to teach Mathematics and Science at this level would be considered an advantage.
